Emergency Eye Care

Riverbend Eye Care provides emergency eye care including the assessment and treatment of issues including traumatic injuries to the eye, sudden vision loss, severe eye infections, or foreign objects embedded in the eye. iWellness

iWellness is a noninvasive scan that examines the eyes with unprecedented clarity not visible with traditional methods. This service provides early detection of minute changes to the retina associated with conditions like diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and many more.

Glasses & Sunglasses

Riverbend Eye Care can provide both exams and fittings for prescription glasses and sunglasses. Dr. Woodward will perform a detailed assessment of visual acuity and refractive errors to determine the precise prescription needed. A glasses fitting allows patients to select frames and lenses that best match their prescription and personal preferences. Pediatric Eye Exams:

Children need a comprehensive eye exam at ages:

• • 6 to 12 months
  • 3 years
  • Just prior to starting kindergarten
  • Every 2 years for children who do not need visual correction
  • Annually for children with visual correction

Dry Eye Care

Dry eye care focuses on diagnosing and treating the discomfort and visual disturbances caused by insufficient tear production or poor-quality tears.
